Dear Friends, Family, Fellow Distillers, and Spirit Lovers,
We hope you are enjoying the start of summer. As the weather warms, we have several exciting announcements!
More Beer on Tap! – Wallflower Gin meets Steamworks Blueberry Hefeweizen this Friday and beyond
Our first beer collaborations with Storm Brewing, Powell Street Brewery, and Strange Fellows Brewing were a huge success. A big thank you to our amazing neighbors!
And so we continue our quest to combine two great warm-weather thirst quenchers: gin and beer. This time, our Wallflower gin is being mixed by Steamworks Brewing into their Blueberry Hefeweizen. The result is a light, fruity, deliciously pleasing summer beer. Please join us at the distillery for a glass of Blueberry Wallflower Hefeweizen starting tomorrow. If you are downtown, you can also enjoy a glass at the Steamworks Brewpub Brewery in Gastown while supplies last.
We plan to have a beer collaboration on tap at the distillery throughout the summer. Upcoming beers, already in the works, include:
Coal Harbour Brewing – Wallflower Gose – a wonderfully light, savory Coal Harbour Gose beer aged in Wallflower gin barrels. A perfect hot summer quencher.
Powell Street Brewing – Ode to Wallflower – Ode to Citra beer aged in Wallflower gin barrels, back due to popular demand and general deliciousness.
Steamworks Brewpub Brewery – East Van Oatmeal Milk Stout – Steamwork’s Outmeal Milk Stout aged in East Van aged vodka barrels. This one will sit for several months to increase its smooth creamy richness in time for the fall.
Many more beer ideas to come…

Whisky Cask Report
A big thank you to all cask owners who came out and tasted their whiskies on June 5th and June 12th. It is safe to say it was a success. By all accounts, the whisky is progressing as it should, and even better than expected. The first group of cask owners will have their whisky bottled next year in 2017. In the meantime, we are busy filling our own standard-sized bourbon barrels for the future and storing them offsite. We also have some interesting whisky announcements coming soon.
